3 of the 4 lung tumors (out of around the 80 I have) were noted to have shrunk nicely 😀 Rough math looks to be about 20% or so. One of them grew a tad, but very well could be some inflammation from the drug trial itself. Not a fan of the consolidation reported, but still a W overall on the lungs in my mind. Will be interesting to see what happens on September scan.
The rest of things are considered stable. Next infusion in a couple of weeks. Really nice that it is just a short infusion every month going forward. The first infusion of the second drug by itself has been easy. No adverse effects, other than being tired. But I had a long 4 months with the surgery, radiation and the start of the drug trial. So a good portion of being tired can be from that and not exercising like I normally do. I feel less tired than I did a few weeks ago. So pretty hopeful.
Speaking to my back surgeon this week. Though my back is sore/balky a bit, I am moving better and think I will be on the treadmill walking by next weekend - not a huge stretch to think that, walked close to 2 miles today.
It is amazing to think of where I am today, compared to even just four weeks ago. I actually jogged 20 feet when walking on a baseball field to make sure I would not get hit while a pitcher was warming up 😀
