Finally Back In The Water and Shift In Chemo Treatment.


Been a bit under the weather for two weeks with allergies/cold. The first time I have been sick since I was diagnosed with #cancer. . . But today extricated myself from the couch and got on bike  trainer then into the water for the first time since @delmosports Atlantic City @ironmantri 70.3. I ran yesterday. Working to #triathlon again finally. I did not realize how much I missed #triathlontraining with swimming until today. 


Have a ways to go to get back up to speed on swim, bike, run, but hopefully past the cold and inertia

Also my oncologist at @sloankettering has shifted my #chemotherapy of FOLFORI with Avistan to every three weeks instead of every two weeks. Basically the benefits of training and the other things I do outweighs whatever incremental differences in the benefits of a two or three week cycle. More good days to train and enjoy things. All because I was training and it has helped me so far. I know better, but there is a small voice in my head thinking 140.6. Will see how things go the next couple weeks as allergies and cold clears, but another 70.3 this year is calling to me.
